The interior of the 968 is a comfort place.  However for track and Autocross it isn't optimal.  It needs a set of good racing shells, with proper 6-point harnesses.  Little point in having those, unless your head is steel.  A roll bar is required as well.  This is what I've done with mine.

Disassembly

Getting Naked

Fitting a '95 rear seat.  It preferred the mostly carpet rear seat.  With the seat tops removed, it is closest to the European Only ClubSport.

Getting the Roll Bar in take time a patience.  This is a Redline Rollbar.  I removed the drivers seat, to easy the installation.  A proper racing seat is planned anyway.

Cleaning up the bright hardware, to have more of a clean, OEM look when finished.

Nearly there, with the original seat pad reinstalled.

Cleaned up and ready to use.  The '95 rear seat has a nice carpet overhang which covers the seem between the "seat" and the rear carpet section giving it a very CS look.

Roll bar in place.  All that is left is a good vacuum!

Schroth 6-point harnesses (Only on the Driver's side for Autocross, both for DE/Track)

Still to come.

A more comfortable steering wheel, and installation of the Schroth G-Point Harnesses.
